Today, the Argentine star will go through his tests, and on Wednesday, all the paperwork for a deal will be finalized.
The Reds triggered a release clause in his contract at the AMEX Stadium, resulting in a deal worth £55 million.

Mac Allister played 112 games for Brighton after moving from Argentinos Juniors in 2019, scoring 20 goals and setting up nine more.

The 24-year-old was crucial in helping Brighton, who finished sixth in the Premier League, qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
