Liverpool Boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly received a fine and suspension for ‘media comments’.
Premier League News:
A source reports that Liverpool Boss Jurgen Klopp has received a £75,000 fine and a two-match touchline suspension as a result of his ‘media comments’ following Liverpool’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on April 30, 2023.
Jurgen Klopp’s touchline suspension for the first match is effective right away, and the second match is suspended until the end of the 2023/24 season under the condition that he doesn’t break FA Rule E3 during that time.

During post-match press conferences, Jurgen Klopp admitted that his comments about the match referee were improper since they implied prejudice, called into question the official’s integrity, were hurtful and personal, and brought disrepute upon the game of football.
Following a subsequent hearing, a Regulatory Commission that is independent issued these punishments, and its written justifications are shown below.
