Prior to Joao Felix’s transfer to Stamford Bridge, Mauricio Pochettino has already decided on his future.
Joao Felix won’t be a member of Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad for Chelsea’s upcoming season. The Portuguese forward was a loanee at Stamford Bridge for the second part of the season, playing for Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
The 23-year-old scored four goals in 20 appearances for Chelsea. It is believed that Joao Felix loved his time in London and was keen to to stay through the end of his contract.
“He will return here, we’ll see. We have nothing planned.”
Felix will look for a new challenge elsewhere after Pochettino decided not to sign him as part of his plans in west London. But at the moment, the forward is having fun in Ibiza.
Joao Felix has shared a number of pictures on Instagram of himself and his friends enjoying the warm weather abroad. Before sharing more photos of himself on a yacht, he tweeted four pictures of himself going through the streets on Wednesday.
Where Joao Felix will end up in the upcoming season is unknown. Newcastle and other possible suitors in Europe have both expressed interest in his services before to their return to the Champions League.
